This is the perfect first bike if you want to teach your child how to ride motorcycles. The electric twist grip throttle allows them to learn throttle control while the small/light brake lever allows them to stop when needed. The bike can easily be switched between two different speeds so that it's slower for learning initially or when you're walking with them but can be increased as they gain confidence. Ideal if you wish to take your child out for a cycle on your mtb trails allowing them to have the same fun and keep up with you.
 
It should be noted that these bikes do have internal gearing meaning that they do have plenty of torque allowing them to accelerate quickly and climb steep hills unlike some other models. They are also near silent where as some competitor geared models product quite loud 'whining' which can cause annoyance in some situations such as evenings at campsites.
