This is the perfect bike for larger kids who've maybe progressed from and outgrown their 12" bike. Great for teaching your child how to ride motorcycles. The electric twist grip throttle allows them to learn throttle control while the small/light brake lever allows them to stop when needed. The bike can easily be switched between two different speeds so that it's slower for learning initially or when you're walking with them but can be increased as they gain confidence. Ideal if you wish to take your child out for a cycle on your mtb trails allowing them to have the same fun and keep up with you.
 
It should be noted that these bikes do have internal gearing meaning that they do have plenty of torque allowing them to accelerate quickly and climb steep hills unlike some other models. They are also near silent where as some competitor geared models product quite loud 'whining' which can cause annoyance in some situations such as evenings at campsites.
 
These 36v bikes are significantly more powerful than our smaller 12" 24v models and should only be purchased if your child is actually of the right size for this larger bike. Otherwise we recomment the 12" model for younger children.
